During my clinic appointment with Mr Ellis at the hospital, I experienced a well managed meeting whilst discussing my symptoms. I was fully informed of my options to proceed with my future treatment and was given options to consider those future treatment in a very professional doctor to patient understanding manner.

After seeing a number of urologists, I had a consultation with Dr. Ellis. Before entering the consultation he had already been through my notes. He was attentive, empathic and listened to what I had to say. He made notes in our consultation making me feel heard and my thoughts made solid. He was very informed and gave me lots of important information, some of which I hadn’t received from previous doctors. He gave me multiple options for future treatments and was very proactive in organising them and advising me on the best course of action. Made me feel very at ease, he is an asset to the NHS!

Dear Mr.Gidon Ellis, I am very grateful that you saw me on the 12/12/2022 regarding my prostrate. You took time to explain to me the reason why I have to go so often to pass water as well as having a very weak flow. You also explained to me different actions ( operations) available to overcome the problems. Thank you for arranging CT angiogram. I hope to discuss the course of action after the CT scan with you or your appointed colleague. Kind Regards, Sharad Mehta
